Daniel Mattiasson is a director based in Stockholm and Gothenburg. He started out studying film and directing in London. The short film: Somnolence he wrote and directed for his master project got selected at Cannes and won at the Madrid International Film Festival. With a background of narrative storytelling and his visual approach, he started making adverts for brands such as Volvo Cars, Cisco, Renault, Hasselblad, Polestar, Craft, Skeppshult, Simplify and DHL. He has been working closely with the artist Miriam Bryant and their short film ’PS Jag Hatar Dig’ just premiered at Cinema Rigoletto and it was screened in 20 different cinemas around Sweden.
